TVS Motor Company approached us to design the web experience for the racing division, bringing the thrill and competition of motorsports to every fan’s screen. We worked closely with the marketing team to understand the essence of the brand and create a website with the right set of imagery and products to bring the thrill of racing to the website.

User Personas

User persona: Deepak S., TVS Racer, age 27, Bangalore, 12 years experience with TVS. Goals include quick visibility into the race season and connecting with the racing community. Pain points include tracking events across multiple platforms and finding sponsors. Needs include coach guidance, injury-free training, and showcasing achievements. Brands used: Oakley, Alpinestars, Pirelli, Monster Energy.User persona: Jatin Kahal, Human Resources at TVS Customer, age 36, Pune, 3 years experience with TVS. Goals include learning the brand and engaging with the racing community. Pain points include scattered event information and a slow website. Needs include clearer enrollment information and advance newsletters. Brands used: DJI, ESPN, GoPro, Spotify.User persona: Siddharth M, Marketing and Mainland Communication, TVS Sponsor, age 42, Bengaluru, 7+ years experience. Goals include understanding the community for strategic partnerships and growing brand awareness. Pain points include a missing partners section and unclear brand perception. Needs include showcasing past champions and a mobile-first approach. Brands used: Trello, Asana, HubSpot, Google Analytics.

Competitive Analysis

A thorough competitive analysis of leading global brands in the motorsport niche was conducted to understand how they engage their audiences, identify effective user flows, and explore analogous experiences that could enhance the user experience for TVS Racing.

Heuristic Evaluation

We ran a heuristic evaluation of the existing website against Nielsen’s 10 usability principles, surfacing friction points across navigation, content hierarchy, and error handling to guide the redesign.

Information Architecture

Two information architectures were structured to ensure intuitive navigation and clear content hierarchy for an improved user experience on the TVS Racing website.

Visually, TVS Racing was to exude racing thrill at every turn. We utilised a combination of TVS’ brand design system, and creative abilities to bring out a visually delightful website.
